Attraction

Why distance can make someone feel more magnetic

Less access can make one person occupy more space in your head.

Distance creates room for projection, and projection can feel powerful.

When someone is less available, your brain has more gaps to fill. That can intensify focus because uncertainty and imagination start doing extra work.

Distance can also create a scarcity effect. The less reachable the attention feels, the more valuable it can start to seem.

This does not always mean the attraction is deeper. Sometimes it means there is more empty space for fantasy to expand inside.
